What’s the event? This event aims to highlight both the popularity and relevance of comics and comic art in an academic setting, as well as envisioning the university and its campus as a creative space for artists, writers, and readers of comics. We also want to show how digital tools and technologies can be used to create communities of shared interest and study both inside and outside of the university <\/p>\n\n\n\n When is the event? Do I need to register? <\/strong> How do I submit my work\/an item from my collection? 1. If you create original<\/em> art and feel comfortable sharing it, you can submit your work using this form<\/a>. You can also view submission guidelines through the link. When is the submission deadline? Interested?<\/strong>
<\/strong>Panels & Pixels: A Virtual Comics Exhibition is an upcoming Digital Scholarship and Comic Studies event presented by UNT Libraries and is open to the UNT community. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/strong>We’re offering two ways to participate!
First is the live Zoom event on Tuesday, November 9 from 11 AM – 2 PM<\/strong>. The second is a virtual exhibit component that will be available beginning the same day. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
