Hello and happy Spring Break! My name is Becca and <\/span>I\u2019m<\/span> a Student Assistant <\/span>Lead at the Music Library Services Desk. It also feels \u201cspring\u201d and \u201cbreak\u201d and beautiful.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n When I listen to this song, I like to sing a crunchy little harmony during the chorus and of course, clap my hands when appropriate. Request <\/span>Dragon New Warm Mountain I Believe in You<\/span><\/i> from our Remote Storage location! \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n A blend of indie pop, dream pop and electronic music, Lykke Li gives us this banger from her debut studio album,<\/span> Youth Novels<\/span><\/i>.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n I DO \u201cjust wanna take you out on the weekend,\u201d but I gotta go to work in the morning!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n If anyone has any tips on how to make a song that sounds like this, please let me know. It makes me feel like I’m having the best dream.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n Shoutout to UNT <\/span>Commercial Music Lab<\/span><\/a> (formerly The Zebras) for introducing me to this #awesome song. You\u2019re right, Hiatus Kaiyote, I don\u2019t wanna be anywhere but in my bedroom. Yet, we prevail! We get out, we go to work. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n I think if my band<\/a> would cover this song, I\u2019d be the happiest girl in the world. It is just so darn fun and makes me want to DANCE. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n Guys, be honest – am I a strange girl?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n If you haven\u2019t heard of Intake Drywall, get hip to this awesome local DFW band of some of my best friends. I can also recommend their <\/span>NPR Tiny Desk Concert<\/span><\/a>. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n Sierra Ferrell won four Grammys this year and I know why! It is because this album is phenomenal. <\/span>Coming soon to the UNT Music Library!<\/span><\/a>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n How she makes 7 sound so natural and easy, I would love to know! Beauty is a symptom of life and that is my motto this Spring Break.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n I\u2019m leaving you with much to think about here.
