You may be ready for the interview, but you are looking for something to set you apart from other candidates. At that point, ePortfolio can be a great opportunity to showcase yourself in more than just a one-page resume. \r\n<br>\r\n<br>\r\nSo, what is an ePortfolio?\r\n<br>\r\n<br>\r\n\r\n\u201cAn e-portfolio is an online display of your skills and talents. It&#8217;s specifically targeted to employers or others you&#8217;d like to impress for educational or professional reasons. So, it&#8217;s more serious and comprehensive than information you share with friends\u201d (Rowh, 2008, p.26) or put on your resume.\r\n<br>\r\n<br>\r\n\r\nUNT students have free access to an ePortfolio platform which stays with all students even after graduation. You can access ePortfolio through <a href=\"https:\/\/my.unt.edu\">myUNT<\/a> website, under resources. For example, if you are currently a student then you may be wondering what you need to bring to an interview until you start the job search process and at that point it would be a lot in your plate. So, constructing an ePortfolio while you process in college can help you look into your assignments, projects, papers, achievements and utilize it on your next interview.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>It is your living resume, so you can showcase not just the bullet points of your work experience but also the real work examples, such as writing samples\/papers, projects\/demo, community services photos, videos and other documents.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\nAlong with benefits of using ePortfolio for job interviews, many graduate school programs now require an ePortfolio as a requirement. For example, the University of North Texas, Department of Information Science requires ePortfolio created in INFO 5001 and maintain it throughout the program of coursework (E-Portfolio, 2019).\r\n<br>\r\n<br>\r\n\r\nSo, what are you waiting for?
