An obvious audience for the library science perspective is the education profession, which can be reached through a number of publications. <em>Journal of Research in Science Teaching<\/em>, <em>Journal of STEM Education: Innovations and Research , Journal of Science Education and Technology, <\/em>and<em> Science Education<\/em> are rich sources for primary and secondary studies of STEM retention, and promising forums for sharing how librarians can collaborate with university faculty and staff to give STEM students the academic support they need.<\/span><\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-family: Calibri; font-size: medium;\">There are many other science education journals to investigate; see a partial list at <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.csun.edu\/science\/ref\/professional_development\/sci_ed_journals.html\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff; font-family: Calibri; font-size: medium;\">The Sourcebook for Teaching Science<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\">, published by Norman Herr, Ph.D., at California State University \u2013 Northridge.
