In February, a welcome message with a custom banner and display was posted on the library website, on the ads and Twitter.

“In support of our mission to provide leadership in innovation and learning, the Public Services Division of the University of North Texas Libraries affirms the principles described in the American Library Association’s Library Bill of Rights and Core Values of Librarianship. We are committed to welcoming the entire UNT community, in all its diversity, to enjoy the information and services provided by the Libraries.” (News page) The story also has a list of resources on campus, and at the libraries.

Where did you get your welcome banner?

Hello and apologies for delayed response. As this blog has been inactive for sometime we did not immediately see your comment. The welcome banner was designed by our External Relations department. The librarians work closely with their team and User Interfaces to create original designs for library events and services.
