Activities will culminate at 8:00 p.m. Eastern time in an hour-long celebration that you can <a href=\"https:\/\/bideninaugural.org\/watch\/\">watch virtually at the PIC website<\/a> or on their social media.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Learn More About Martin Luther King, Jr.<\/h2>\n<p>More information about Dr. King and his philosophy can be found at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/thekingcenter.org\/\">The King Center for Nonviolent Social Change<\/a>. Shortly after Dr. King\u2019s assassination, his widow Coretta Scott King established this nongovernmental, nonprofit organization to provide research, education, and training in King\u2019s principles, philosophy, and techniques of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/thekingcenter.org\/about-tkc\/the-king-philosophy\/\">nonviolence<\/a>. The Center champions the causes of freedom, justice, and equality by working to eliminate poverty, build community, and foster peace.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Other resources, including a large collection of online documents, are available at Stanford University&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/kinginstitute.stanford.edu\/\">Martin Luther King, Jr. Research and Education Institute<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>Other Ways You Can Make a Difference<\/h2>\n<p>Service to your community doesn\u2019t have to be limited to one day a year!
