One small detail in the movie Nine to Five created an indelible link between two remarkable women; renown entrepreneur Bette Nesmith Graham, and world-wide celebrity Dolly Parton.

The Liquid Paper Company was founded in 1958 by Bette Nesmith Graham, a secretary who identified a need for easily correcting mistakes on typed documents. By 1969 the Liquid Paper Company was a multi-million dollar company headquartered in Dallas, Texas, but Liquid Paper found a new level of success in the hands of Dolly Parton.
